The day we were put in touch with Jagath, he sent us a core itinerary which we scrutinised and then adjusted to our needs and interests. Jagath was very responsive and put together an excellent trip. As an additional bonus, Jagath managed to locate Ken’s Grandfather’s grave in Colombo which few of our extended family had seen. Our family in Australia are very grateful for Jagath’s effort. Thank you Jagath and his helpers.
We asked for an experienced guide/driver of about our age, with a good command of English and a sense of humour. Mike the Magician as we called him, had an excellent knowledge of his country, its history, customs and places of interest. Mike always knew how to find the places we needed to go to, locate good local restaurants, toilets, shops and knew where to get a good bargain. We had lots of laughs with Mike, sometimes at each other’s expense, all of which made our trip/holiday an unforgettable experience. His driving skills were very excellent.
We visited 3 National Parks, explored historical places and old cities, trekked Horton’s Plains, enjoyed the train trip through the highlands and had a few days of rest in a paradise by the sea.
Jagath’s choice of hotels was very good.
