Our family thoroughly enjoyed nearly 3 weeks in Sri Lanka. We are a retired couple and our working daughter joined us for most of it. Jagath had consulted with us thoughtfully and seriously and had prepared very well before our trip. During our holiday he kept in regular touch to ensure that everything flowed to our satisfaction, and made corrective changes to achieve any possible improvements. He certainly exceeded our high expectations. From the time I first contacted Jagathsingh Jayasingh – Managing Director of Luxurious Sri Lanka tours – he generated confidence. We planned with him for a few months via emails and phone. Ultimately we arrived in January to meet him and Basil his great driver/guide. Basil drove us all around in a very comfortable van and explained all we saw with very good English. Most of the properties that Jagath booked for us were boutique hotels with very few rooms. The rooms were large and luxurious and serviced by excellent staff. In some places we effectively had our own private chef to make all meals to our liking. The country is interesting and beautiful and we toured at our own pace. Generally we stayed in a hotel for 3 nights and saw all the surrounding sights, then moved on to another hotel, so that we were not rushing, unpacking and repacking every day. It also meant we could benefit from the services and views in each place. At one point when we decided to change locations a day earlier, Jagath rearranged it immediately.
